“A sister is both your mirror—and your opposite.”—Elizabeth Fishel
PHI SIGMA SIGMA
What does sisterhood mean to you?
I'm inviting you to feel into this before we meet.
Merriam-Webster defines it as:
2: a community or society of sisters especially : a society of women in a religious order
3: the solidarity of women based on shared conditions, experiences, or concerns
Can you relate to these or would you define it differently?
I have sat and led many sisterhood circles and in my experience they are all unique. Each of you come in with your own set of life experiences, family dynamics, values, and passions.
On Sunday, your retreat will allow you to be cracked open, and create or in some instances re-create sisterhood based on how you define it.
Allow your sisterhood to be not just about you but of you and for the collective common good!
I am honored and excited to be able to lead you through a healing and transformative experience during our time together. I can't wait to meet you and be in your energy.
XO - Michele Ogston
WHAT TO EXPECT
Be prepared to be moved. Something I specialize in is creating spaces where you will learn more about yourself and the others around you. You can expect to get introspective, creative, and expressive.
This will be a full sensory experience.
This means from the moment you arrive on the property all your senses will be engaged. Moonglow Ranch offers a spectacular view and tranquil feeling. There will be essential oils, diffusers, flowers, and you might even see a duck or some other wildlife.
I will be leading you through a series of activities to foster a deeper sense of sisterhood while also getting to know yourself more. Be prepared to share, be vulnerable, and create a deeper connection with your sisters.
You will hear me say this often, "everything I ask you to do is an invitation." You are not required to participate in anything. The more you lean into your vulnerability and allow you to be seen by your sisters the deeper the connection you'll create.
Be prepared to let go, be open and to trust in the process.
WHAT TO BRING
It will help you to drop in and be fully present in your retreat if you have the things that make you the most comfortable. Here are a few suggestions for you to bring with you:
WATER - the property is on a well and it isn't advised you drink the water. Please make sure you bring a water bottle for the day
JOURNAL & PEN - or something to write on and with. I will be inviting you to write a few times during your retreat.
COMFORTABLE CLOTHES - It will help you to dress in layers and wear comfortable clothes. You will be on yoga mats so think, leggings or something easy to sit in. You might want to bring a hat too if you are sensitive to the sun. or sunscreen. Also, in true Sonoma County weather, the temperature will fluctuate. It can feel warm in the sun and a breeze kicks up about 2pm.
PHONES OR CAMERA - Feel free to take pictures, post and share your experience. I'd kindly ask that you mention or tag me in your uploads Instagram @micheleogstonclc or https://www.instagram.com/micheleogstonclc/
